Chloe Fremantle
Chloe’s work reflects the transience of life.
Initially photos deliberately taken act as springboards for ideas,
Predominately reflecting her response to Nature,
and to the environment around her.
Her paintings combine figurative references as well as her personal emotional responses, and through her use of colour, mark, line and texture her work becomes evolves as an entity of its own.
Since 2004 she has carried out several year long projects at Kew Gardens, with the Oxford Botanical Gardens, & for Highgreen Manor, Northumberland, as well as pursuing other private commissions, and series of works.
She has been exhibiting since 1973, & has lived in Italy, France, the USA and the UK, where she currently has a NW London studio.
