My practice is studio-based but comes out of many sources photographed, observed, or ephemeral that I later translate and develop abstractly.  Ultimately a flow of energies which generates a sense of animated matter in absolute stillness encapsulates its meaning.

It has something to do with attaining the essence of what art is within the work.  A state of being is expressed with an emotional and philosophical dimension, by its clarity and strength.
